Az's genius was to connect Martin's thoughts with this lovely passage of dialogue from "The King's Speech":
Lionel Logue: [as George is lighting up a cigarette] Please don't do that.
King George VI: I'm sorry?
Lionel Logue: I believe sucking smoke into your lungs, well, it'll kill you.
King George VI: My physicians say it relaxes the throat.
Lionel Logue: They're idiots.
King George VI: They've all been knighted.
Lionel Logue: Makes it official, then.

Replace 'certified' with 'knighted' and you're there.
We need more certifications that actually accompany better competence for sure!
There are a few out there, but they are in the minority. In many cases, certification is only an official way of saying you don't know much more about something that anyone else.
I hope you enjoy the synergy as much as I did :)
