The Biker Software Monk Itinerary for November, December 2014

11/20/2014

So far in November I've hit the heights of the Spring eXchange in London, then the wonderful UBSTechConf also (and on the way delivered a couple of training courses on Spring and my very own Microservices course) and now I'm just coming to the end of a great time here in Abu Dhabi. So what's next?

Next up is of course MuCon next week so I'll be back in London (and riding my bike too I hope if the weather is kind)! I'll be delivering the one-day course "Introduction to Building Microservices" on Tuesday, then it's straight into opening MuCon with my keynote before enjoying the time as compere with the Skills Matter team. Really looking forward to making this first run of this conference a great time for everyone. Watch this space for announcements concerning future runs of the conference as it's been well-and-truly sold out this time.

After MuCon I can only say that I must have been a very wicked person in a previous life as there's no rest for me at all. I'm then off to Malaga, Spain to deliver a workshop, then back to London to deliver Spring Web from the 8th December, and then off to Prague to deliver an in-house workshop before finally the break for the holidays.

Phew, so in summary...
  • "Introduction to Microservices" course next week (still some spaces left if you'd like to jump on this at the last minute) ...
  • ... then MuCon in London next week also ...
  • ... then Malaga, Spain for a workshop ...
  • ... then London for Spring Web ...
  • ... then Prague for a workshop! ...
  • then rest *sigh*... (well, knowing me, that rest will be a relative version of rest...)

So the key question is, I'm going to be in Malaga, Spain from the 3rd December to the 5th, then London from the 8th to the 12th, then Prague from the 15th to the 19th ... does anyone want to meet up in the evenings for a chat, or even want to arrange an impromptu talk with me? All subjects are available, particularly if you're interested in architecture, cloud native and microservices.

I'm happy to visit any companies also that would like me to pop in for one of the evenings while on my travels. Just let me know by popping me an email at russell DOT miles AT simplicity itself.com

Hope to hear from a few folks soon so I can make my evenings as busy as my days as the Biker Software Monk runs through his travels to the end of 2014!
